Hotel Sunce officially became the eighteenth certified partner of the Eastern Serbia Regional Brand, after receiving the “Balcanica Superior” certificate at a ceremonial event on Wednesday, April 15. The certificate, a guarantee seal that symbolizes reliability and responsible business practices, was presented to Hotel Sunce after it successfully met all the prescribed criteria. The certificate was presented to Nemanji Stojkovic, director of operations of Hotel Sunce, by Vladan Jeremic, director of RARIS – Regional Development Agency Eastern Serbia.
The certificate, which serves as a guarantee seal and symbolizes reliability and responsible business practices, was awarded to Hotel Sunce after it successfully met all the prescribed evaluation criteria. With this, Hotel Sunce has earned the right to use the “Balcanica Superior” mark—a designation that guarantees a distinctive regional quality.
Before the ceremony, the brand's certified partners gathered for a joint meeting to discuss enhancing their cooperation and planned promotional activities. Special emphasis was placed on the announcement of their entry into the Bulgarian market, where the promotion of the brand's partners and the tourist offer of eastern Serbia is planned for the upcoming period.
This event combined the essence of the Balcanica Superior brand — a commitment to authenticity, quality, and regional heritage —with the state-of-the-art wellness offerings of Hotel Sunce and the natural riches of Sokobanja. The awarding of the certificate to Hotel Sunce represents another step toward raising standards in regional tourism, and Hotel Sunce is the latest ambassador positioning Sokobanja as a destination for a premium wellness experience.
The Eastern Serbia regional brand, “Balcanica Superior,” was created as a tool to promote the development of the local economy and to strengthen consumer confidence in products and services from Eastern Serbia. The inclusion of Hotel Sunce in this network represents another step in expanding the brand and establishing the region as a recognizable tourist and economic destination.
